Winner of the 2008 Tele Atlas LBS Innovators Series Map in Apps, Pongr.com uses an innovative image recognition mobile marketing platform that allows you to price comparison shop by your mobile phone.  How does this work?  You simply snap a picture of the product you want or text product information to Pongr.com, and you get back the best price and location information sent directly to your phone.  One cool feature is that you can take a picture of an advertisement in a magazine for example, and get back location and best price results.  I have often times seen a product I wanted shown in a magazine, but didn't have a clue as to where I can buy it or even know what the best price is.  With pongr.com, I am able to do just that.
